License-Free Fishing Events In Ontario

Each year there are license-free fishing events held in Ontario to provide people with the opportunity to try fishing without having to purchase a license. Although a license isn’t required for these events, anglers must still comply with conservation license catch limits, obey any applicable size limits and sanctuaries, and follow the fishing regulations.
