Get ready to munch at Brunch on Pitt in Cornwall. This elevation of the usual brunch spot will make your mouth water just by looking at the menu. From Caramel Crunch French Toast to Benny and the Jets, Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, and handmade English muffins, Brunch just topped the list as the most important meal of the day.

2. Nautica Grill

If you love delicious food and have a hankering for handcrafted goodness, then this is the spot for your brunching. Nautica Grill is a family-run restaurant tucked on the waterfront at the Long Sault Marina and has carved out a niche as a truly exceptional all-day breakfast, lunch, and weekend-brunch destination place. The captivating waterfront setting only adds to the experience!

3. Hot Roast Company

The Hot Roast Company is known for cooking from the heart. This little sandwich shop in downtown Gananoque is serving up an amazing all-day brekkie, known for its full English breakfast and pancakes that are worth the drive. This place is the real deal. An authentic classic diner, Rapid Valley Restaurant is home-cooked food at its best. Watch here for traditional breakfasts; be sure to finish off your meal with a piece of their homemade pie, regardless of what time of day it is! You know it’s good if the locals rave about it – and that’s what happens here.

5. Muddy Waters

Looking for a brunch to cure what ails you? Let Muddy Waters clear your head! This locally-run restaurant serves a hearty breakfast on their Good Morning menu with all of your fav breakfast fare and a host of house specialties. Did you know breakfast poutine is a thing? Muddy Waters says it is: homefries with bacon, onions, cheese, and a sunny egg smothered in hollandaise sauce! Gotta try it to believe it. 

6. Itty Bitty Diner

It may be small but Itty Bitty Diner is big on brunch. We hear this food is classic and reasonably priced. Enjoy traditional fare without the fuss, topped off with friendly service. Look here for great omelette choices, too. The coffee is strong and waiting to perk you up!

7. Spuds

Hometown atmosphere with hearty meals? Yes, please! Spuds is a local favourite place for brunch, with an all-day breakfast and a special of the day. Known for its fresh hot coffee, good portions and even better prices, head to Spuds with some buds and kick start the day. Caution: you might fall in the love with the saloon-type setting!

The perfect home-style cooking awaits at The Lighthouse Restaurant at Picton Harbour Inn. It has been voted Picton’s most popular breakfast for several years with good reason. You can’t escape the Crêpe! The County’s only crêperie has all-day breakfast options to make your days better.  Crêpe Escape makes each order fresh, using locally sourced ingredients. Will you choose sweet treats stuffed with strawberries and Nutella or savoury crêpes like butter chicken? Located in The historic armory in downtown Picton, each order is made fresh, using locally sourced ingredients. Look here for vegan and vegetarian options. They guarantee fresh coffee is being brewed all day!

10. Beacon Bike + Brew

Blending a love of great coffee, food and cycling, this unique space in the heart of downtown Picton offers local fare and an inclusive experience. Cycling accessories and safety items, paired with show-stopping coffee and bevvies. We hear the breakfast sandwich here is over the moon: Porchetta, smoked gouda, fried egg and greens. Sign us up!

11. The Wooden Spoon

Beloved by many, The Wooden Spoon has been a mainstay on the brunch scene for over 60 years! The views from the south picture windows are stunning and the wholesome breakfast and lunch foods are the icing on the cake. Nourishing and nom nom worthy.

12. Katarina’s Coffee Shop – Prescott

From eggs benny to regular breakfast fare to an epic bagel brekkie sammie, Katarina’s Coffee Shop is known for its baked goods and delightfully caffeinating the 1000 Islands. This family-owned and operated café in Prescott has brunch wrapped up in a tidy package. If you’re feeling fancy try the new Tiramasu Latte for a sweet pick me up.

13. Bobby’s Restaurant – Prescott

Bobby’s is the place to be if you’re hungry – from the house specialty Belly, Buster Breakfast to the sweet and delicious chocolate chip pancakes, this diner-style space is a local hotspot for comfortable classic brunch eats. If you’re looking for a cure for having a little bit too much fun last night, or if you’re looking for a solid family meal to start off the weekend, Bobby’s Restaurant fits the bill.
