Make sure you purchase your tickets in advance for this year’s popular Open Farms event! Local farms around Frontenac will be opening their doors to the public to provide unique experiences based on each farm’s specialty. Learn about organic farming at Fat Chance Farmstead, and pick your own apples at Loughborough Heritage Orchard before spending some quality time with horses, pigs and chickens! This exciting annual event is held at the A’nowara’ko:wa Arena on Cornwall Island. Visitors enjoy a two-day event with music, food and company, as it brings together the best artisans, drummers and dancers from the region. The Pow-Wow enables joining together with other First Nations from across Canada and the United States, but it also provides visitors with an opportunity to participate in an exciting cultural experience.
