1. Avonmore Fair When: July 19-2
This amazing fair is all about rural living this year in Avonmore! Enjoy meeting adorable animals at their petting zoo, show off your strength at bale tossing and if you are feeling confident take your chances at their talent show!
2. Celtic Fair When: July 27 & 28
Join in the fun this July at the Glengarry Pioneer Museum to celebrate in true Celtic fashion. Learn and embrace Celtic music, listen to stories of the history and folklore and dance the day away with music from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Cornwall.
3. Williamstown Fair When: August 9-11
Attend one of Canada’s oldest annual fairs this August and be prepared to have a blast! Equestrians unite to enjoy a show of horses, ponies and other petting zoo cuties. Join in on some family games, karaoke and even woodworking classes for kids!
4. South Mountain Fair When: August 15-18
For the past 126 years families have been coming from far and wide to enjoy the annual South Mountain Fair. With a passion for agriculture and a fun fair staff, you will learn how to be better with your environment while enjoying a demolition derby, beef and horse shows and musical entertainment!
5. Chesterville Fair When: August 23-25
Enjoy rural bliss while you attend this years Chesterville Fair. From tractor pulls to horse and cattle shows to entertainment for the tots, you will be sure to create fond memories that will keep you returning for years to come!
6. Stormont County Fair When: August 30 – September 2
Since the mid 1800’s, Newington has been hosting their famous Stormont County Fair to bring families together in the name of agriculture. Kids and adults alike can enjoy the petting zoo, ride ponies, watch some epic wrestling, melt over the adorable dogs at the dog show and even take part in some remote car racing!
7. Belleville Waterfront & Multicultural Festival When: July 11-13
This year Belleville has added three additional stages to bring more entertainment, including buskers, dog watersports, stunt shows, rock concerts, dance performances and a bubbly craft beer garden.
8. Quinte Exhibition When: August 29 – September 1
Pack some SPF 30 for your trip to this years Quinte Exhibition to finish off your summer. Get on some fun rides between listening to local musicians including the Rob Waite Band, and then meet some new critters with Little Ray’s Reptile Show. Finish your evening cheering on the heavy truck and tractor pull!
9. Tyendinaga Mohawk Fair When: September 20 – 22
Adventure over to Tyendinaga for a lively fair that will include fun for the entire family! Learn more about the Mohawk culture by trying traditional food, take part in crafts and listening to local artists.
10. Odessa Fair When: July 12-14
Enjoy the welcoming town of Odessa this July at their annual Fair! You can enjoy Bingo all weekend, watch endless shows including a parade, demolition derby and horse show!
11. Napanee Fair When: August 2-5
Don’t let the thought of summer ending get you down! Bring th clan over to the Napanee Fair this August. Enjoy live entertainment from local musicians, attend agricultural exhibits, and watch as they demo some gnarly machines!
12. Merrickville Fair When: August 9-11
Perfect for Country Music lovers! Bring the whole family to enjoy cow and horse shows, a kids zone and a petting zoo! Don’t worry, there are plenty of things for adults to enjoy as well including a beer tent and tractor pull!
13. Spencerville Fair When: September 12 – 15
Here ye, here ye! The fair royalty will be arriving in Spencerville September 12-15 to show its many followers how to celebrate the end of summer! Watch the Little Sir/Little Miss and Junior Ambassador competitions, a joyful parade as well as pony, goat, sheep and chicken shows!
14. Delta Fair When: July 25-28
Enjoy Delta’s 189th Delta Fair, with nightly entertainment, petting zoos and horse shows! Bring the whole family to enjoy children’s activities but don’t forget to check out the home craft and produce displays. Bring home some special goodies to celebrate summer.
15. Picton Fair When: September 6-8
The Picton fair comes to town every year to get visitors excited about agriculture. Meet lots of adorable animals including livestock, horse and pony shows! Check out local food vendors and even enter your own pup in the Pet Value show!
16. Lansdowne Fair When: July 18 – 21
Journey to the adorable town of Lansdowne, just East of Gananoque. This year marks their 155th annual festival and comes action-packed! Enjoy carnival favourites such as rides, fried foods, horse pulls, antique tractor and machinery displays!
17. Kingston Fall Fair When: September 12-15
Grab the whole family and bring them down to Kingston’s annual Fall Fair for some epic carnival rides, taste delicious food and place your bets in local competitions.
18. Downtown Brockville FunFest When: August 17
Bring the little ones so they can bounce high in the bouncy castles, wear dancing shoes to move to the beat of live music, get on some electric vehicle rides and do some shopping at the sidewalk sale!
