Celebrate Humble Beginnings humble beginning five years ago to the day on June 3rd from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm! You can catch a ride on their shuttle bus at the brewery and make your way to Lunenburg for an afternoon of celebration, good drinks and delicious food. One ticket will include a drink token, a soft pretzel, a special celebratory cup and a donation to cystic fibrosis research. You can also purchase goodies from The Boulangerie Swiss Farmer Bakery while you’re there – yum!

Celebrate your pride at the North Grenville Pride Parade this June 3rd at 1:00 PM in Kemptville! Join early to be a part of the parade, or observe alongside the paraders and celebrate the beauty of the 2SLBGTQI+ community.

It’s a weekend full of pride in North Grenville this June! Start your weekend at the Pride Parade at 1:00PM in Kemptville, and then drop in (for free) at the Tallman Room at the North Grenville Public Library to share in community crafts, and relationship building during their ‘Glittery Crafternoon’ on the 2nd and 4th sunday of each month from 2:00PM to 3:45PM.

14. Spice Queens, Cherry Valley

Calling all millennials! Get your Spice Girl to fix at the upcoming Spice Queens drag show at The Hayloft Dancehall from 7:30 PM to 1:30 AM on June 9th! These five iconic queens give an incredible performance you will be sure to love and emulate the soul of the Spice Girls perfectly. Celebrate the local indigenous talent and culture when you attend this unique musical event. David R. Maracle and Friends combine indigenous fusion music with the culture and storytelling we all know and love. As a local community member from Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory and a local activist, David is also known nationally for his award-winning multi-instrumentalist musical talents. This summer is one for those with a sweet tooth as Base31 hosts the Craft Chocolate Tasting Workshop Series! With dates all throughout June, July and August, you will get a chance to dive into the science behind chocolate making with a guided tour by a certified chocolatier! In June you can attend their first session where the celebration includes sampling bars that represent diversity and sustainability, as well as deliciousness!
